This is the question I get asked most often, so here's a brief explanation of how it all works. You can also Contact Me to get more information.

Do you want to work remotely or would you like me to come to your studio?

To work remotely means that you provide the text and I record it in my own professional studio. I then deliver the audio to you in whichever format you requested.

I've worked with both methods extensively and have plenty of happy customers- I'm sure you'll find either method simple and effective!

Remote Audio

  • Cheaper than hiring a studio and voice over- you only pay for the voice.
  • I can usually deliver within 48 hours.
  • I handle everything so there's no need to take time out of your busy schedule. You just receive the audio when it's finished.
  • This method is particularly suitable if you just want to "plug in" audio to a website.
  • It's also ideal for small jobs such as Voicemail greetings.

The Process:

  1. Email or call me (Contact) to confirm a booking. Provide as much information as you can about the project, including length, purpose and usage. It's useful to provide the text you'd like me to work from, even if it's a draft version.
  2. You'll also need to specify the format you require, for example MP3, and how you'd like them to be delivered, by email, FTP site or CD in the post.
  3. I'll provide a quote- you can get a rough idea of my rates by visiting Rates
  4. If you're happy with the quote I begin work. I usually turnover a script in 48 hours or 2 working days.
  5. I welcome advice on how you'd like the script delivered- it may be helpful to listen to my Reels and if you hear something you like, let me know!
  6. Once the audio is finished I will deliver it to you via your chosen method and accept payment via bank transfer, cheque (if paying from the UK) or Paypal. Voices.com also offers an escrow payment system which charges 10%.
  7. Please note that for Voicemail, IVR and general telephone greetings I am only able to call into phone systems in the UK. I've found that calling from here to the USA compromises the quality of the audio which reduces the professional impact of your greeting. I can provide audio in most phone system formats.

  • You have greater control over the direction and audio style of the piece.
  • You can work with the engineers and studios you prefer.
